Notes for JOHN MCCLINTOCK: Believed to have participated in attack on Alexander Hanna on 22 May 1830 where Hanna was stabbed while attending a militia gathering. Alexander McClintock of John, Robert of William, John of Robert, Alexander of John and Eston McClintock also participated. John and his brother Robert supposively beat, abused and stabbed Hanna with the intent to kill him, according to oath of Alexander Hanna sworn to Bernard Connelly Jr, Justice of the Peace for Somerset Co., PA on 24 May 1830.
